The main goal of LIFE DRAINRAIN project is the development and validation of an innovative system for water treatment which removes the pollution from runoff water. The proposed system is based on a photocatalytic porous pavement combined with an in situ modular water treatment system.
Within the framework of this project, the technical seminar “Sustainability and Environment in Water Treatment” (Sostenibilidad y Medioambiente en el Tratamiento de Aguas) has been organized by the project’s consortium and will take place on Wednesday, June 5th, in the Exhibition Hall of the Port of Ferrol (A Coruña, Spain).
Please note that the seminar is free, but attendees shall register in advance by email (contact@lifedrainrain.com) or by phone (+34 981 37 11 36).
This project has received funding from the European Union’s LIFE Programme 2014-2020 and proposes an innovative approach to mitigate the environmental impact of runoff in water bodies by means of the combination of a photocatalytic porous pavement and a water treatment system.
